How to commission a bespoke piece of jewellery

You may have an idea you want transformed into a bespoke piece of jewellery. The process is more straightforward than you might think and it is a rewarding and unique experience to be involved in designing your perfect piece.

We start by having a discussion about the kind of piece you want and who it is for, the impression you want to evoke, and any colours or patterns you particularly like. If you have any sketches or photos you want to use as the basis for the piece, you would send those through to me.

I will sketch out a number of options based on our discussion and we would have a follow up discussion to decide which direction to take.

Once a design is finalised, I take a 50% deposit. The cost of commissioned pieces starts at £150 for earrings and £100 for pendants and necklaces, based on the complexity of the design and the materials chosen. The balance is due when the piece is complete.

Please allow 4-6 weeks from the start of this process for your bespoke piece to be finished as your jewellery is being entirely handmade. It will also be hallmarked as your guarantee of quality. If you are in a hurry and need the work completed in a shorter time frame, please contact me to see if this is possible.

If you want to add a personalised touch, but don't want to commission a bespoke piece, most of my existing designs can be made in the colour and size of your choice. I offer this service at no additional cost, but it will take 2-4 weeks to complete a made to order piece.
